Anthony Cambria

​My name is Tony Cambria.
I started learning the tattoo trade at 16,
working for father Tony's Tattoos in Union Beach NJ.

 

Later moved to bigger facility in Keansburg, NJ.

My own first shop was in Pt. Pleasant Beach, NJ. Next stop was Atlantic City NJ - "Atlantic Tattoos"

I worked various other places temporarily, like U.S.1 Market NJ, Jacksonville, NC, Bike Week in Florida,
Charlottesville VA, and a few other places.

 

My #1 mentor was of course my father whom i worked along side of for many years, when i started tattooing was bare knuckles, (yes that was before the comodore 64) and pictures were developed on film.

Dad is "Tony the Pirate"
He started tattooing 1955 Coney Island, NY
working for Brooklyn Blackie, when NY closed tattooing, he moved to Newark NJ, eventually moving to Virginia where I currently own and operate Virginia Ink Tattoo's!
